About Event

Join us for an exciting and interactive workshop exploring the world of Perplexity, their latest innovations, and the fundamentals of Prompt Engineering!

Together, we’ll dive into how AI models interpret, understand, and generate responses — and how the right prompts can unlock smarter, more creative, and responsible outcomes. This workshop also highlights the principles of Responsible Computing, emphasizing ethical AI use, fairness, transparency, and the mindful design of prompts to ensure technology benefits everyone.

A laptop is necessary for full participation.

In this session, you’ll get hands-on experience crafting prompts, analyzing how AI responds, and understanding how language, logic, and context shape what we see on our screens. Whether you’re a beginner or already curious about how AI tools like Perplexity work, this workshop will help you see the technology in a thoughtful and responsible new way.

To make things even more fun, we’ll have an AI-themed Kahoot game where the Top 3 winners will take home amazing prizes!

All majors are welcome. No coding experience required!

Come learn, play, and discover how prompt engineering — grounded in responsible computing — is shaping the future of human-AI collaboration.
