Solar for Everyone - making solar work for strata and social housing

​Whole sectors of our community are locked out of solar energy generation and unable to reduce their energy bills: including renters and people living in apartments and social housing. We'll tell you about Pingala's work breaking down barriers to accessing renewable energy. Pingala works to fund, support and manage community-owned equitable renewable energy projects.

​We've collaborated to create Australia's first large scale solar garden, 'Haystacks'; partnered to deliver solar for social housing; and worked with local businesses and their communities to install solar.

​We'll tell you about our recent work focused on making solar work for strata and social housing. We will workshop barriers and opportunities with you and share what we've learned in this space so far.
