Climate Vine Mixer at NYCW
Join us for an afternoon of cross-pollination and connection during New York Climate Week.
Climate work is often siloed by sector. The people building grid infrastructure rarely end up in a room with those leading procurement at a large corporation, even when understanding each other’s work could be useful.
This gathering is a chance to meet others doing this work, trade notes on what's working, and spark peer relationships. Priority is given to past or current Climate Vine members, but all are welcome.
How it will run:
The first 10 minutes are arrival and picking up a colored name tag for your focus area. Then we'll have two in-person speed networking rounds: you'll meet a few people working in your area, then a few people working in different ones.
Focus areas
Energy: Generation, storage, grid, efficiency, fuels
Built Environment: Buildings, materials, construction, cities, real estate
Mobility: Transport, logistics, freight, aviation, shipping
Food, Land & Nature: Water, agriculture, food systems, forestry, nature-based solutions, biodiversity
Industry & Materials: Manufacturing, heavy industry, chemicals, circularity, waste
Sustainable Operations: Running organizations sustainably: procurement, supply chain, facilities, energy use, waste, reporting, the internal work of making commitments real
Economic Redesign: Steward and commons ownership, governance, regenerative economics
Hosted by Climate Vine.
*Feel free to register for the Anthos <> Climate Vine, starting at 4pm in the same venue, here.
