Night at Basecamp: An Evening of Conservation Storytelling
Presented by Causeway Impact, in collaboration with Wildlife Conservation Network / Yunkawasi, the Jane Goodall Institute, and OneReef, Night at Basecamp is an evening of immersive storytelling led by the people working on the frontlines of our living planet.
Over the course of the evening, you'll hear three stories: one from the forest, one from the canopy, and one from the ocean. Each conservation leader will share a defining moment from their work through personal narration, extraordinary visuals from the field, and a meaningful object connected to their experience.
Each presentation is designed to transport the audience into the places, communities, and moments that have shaped these conservation leaders' lives and work.
Our Featured Storytellers include:
Fanny Cornejo: Executive Director (Yunkawasi, Peru)
Bill Wallauer: Research Videographer/ Cinematographer(Jane Goodall Institute, USA, Tanzania)
Dr. Nicole Yamase — Director of Impact (OneReef, Micronesia)
Following the presentations, guests are invited to continue the conversation during a reception with the storytellers, representatives from the organizations, and fellow attendees.
Night at Basecamp brings together conservation leaders, philanthropists, investors, filmmakers, artists, and changemakers for an evening of storytelling, conversation, and community.
Join us on Tuesday, September 29 at Scandinavia House.
