🐾 Crochet 104: Faux Fur Plush Intensive
Advanced Texture · Furry Forms · Structured Chaos
Ready for the next level?
Crochet 104 is for makers who already have plush experience and are ready to work with one of the most challenging materials in fiber craft: faux fur yarn.
If chenille felt manageable — faux fur will test your patience, tension control, and spatial awareness.
You can barely see the stitches.
You can’t rely on visual alignment.
You must feel the structure.
This workshop is about mastering that.
🧶 Why 104 Is Different
Faux fur yarn is:
Visually messy
Difficult to frog (undo)
Hard to count stitches
Extremely unforgiving with structure
But when handled correctly — it produces beautifully textured, professional-looking plush pieces.
This is not a beginner class.
It is a controlled environment to help you conquer furry yarn safely and confidently.
🎯 What You’ll Learn
Reading stitches by touch instead of sight
Maintaining structural integrity in low-visibility yarn
Controlling increases & decreases inside thick textures
Managing seam alignment in furry fabric
Advanced stuffing balance for weighted plush
Clean finishing techniques for professional look
🐻 Learning Outcome
A completed furry plush character
(with clean shaping and intentional structure)
You’ll leave knowing you can handle “difficult” yarn.
