Para Nuestra Querida Comunidad: A photography showcase by Pedro Ramirez and Araceli Ramirez
Grounded Studio presents an evening with photographers Pedro Ramirez and Araceli Ramirez, whose ongoing bodies of work examine Mexican-American identity, memory, and the meaning of home.
Working in parallel, the two artists turn their lenses toward the people and places that shape belonging. Their images move between the intimate and the communal: a family gathering, a familiar street corner, the quiet rituals that hold a neighborhood together. Taken together, the projects ask what we carry from the places we come from, and what it means to be part of something larger than ourselves.
The evening invites guests to view the work, engage in conversation with the artists.
