Abundance General Meeting: Should California Voters Back a Ballot Measure to Reform the State’s Environmental Laws? A Debate

​CEQA has long divided environmentalists in California: the law protects nature, but has also been used to block housing, transit, and clean energy projects. This year, a new ballot measure, the Building an Affordable California Act, would go further than recent reforms to CEQA, raising the key question: Does the Act help California build what it needs, or go too far in weakening environmental protections?

​Join Students for Abundance at Berkeley for a participatory debate. All attendees will be randomly assigned for or against the position to argue their side.
