OHM Gathering 2026
OHM Gathering is a living experiment in new ways to share, care and coordinate.
Join us 27–29 November on Kombumerri Country at our lush rainforest site in Natural Bridge, Queensland, for a weekend of connection, curiosity and co-creation.
With a spring-fed swimming hole, communal kitchen and stunning mountain views, OHM Gathering brings together art, music, science, wellbeing, culture and more — creating space to explore new ways of living and working together.

Participatory — everyone is invited to help shape the experience.
Decommodified — no buying or selling within the gathering; everything on site is a gift to the collective.
Inclusive — a drug- and alcohol-free space welcoming people of all ages and backgrounds.
Open-hearted — a space for authentic expression, connection, creativity and growth.
Open-minded — welcoming diverse perspectives, new ideas and different ways of seeing the world.

We'll provide the essentials for everyone to connect, create and thrive, including:

🍃 Open Workshop Space for spontaneous offerings
🍲 Two communal meals

🔥 Wood-fired hot tub, subject to 125+ participants
✅ Recognition of contributions through Wisdom, OHM’s collective valuation system
🎨 HOW CAN YOU PARTICIPATE? 🎨
Access to the gathering is based on contributions towards the foundations that make it possible: financial contributions, infrastructure, or volunteering.
Once you’ve secured your place, you’re welcome to gift to the collective in whatever way feels right to you.
This could be a workshop or skill-share, a presentation on your passion project, some art or music, food to share, extra volunteering, or anything else you feel moved to contribute.
There’s no prescribed type or format of gift. Anything that you think the community might appreciate is welcome.
Financial gifts are also greatly appreciated, with all proceeds flowing to core contributors through Wisdom. To donate additional money, simply name your own price at checkout.

The Main Stage and Kids Space program will be curated by the planning team from offerings submitted by registered participants.
If you have a special offering you’d like to see included in the programme and promoted, let us know during registration or contact us beforehand to discuss your idea.

🍃 OPEN WORKSHOP SPACE 🍃
The Open Workshop Space will be available for non-scheduled offerings, discussions, practices and experiments throughout the gathering. A chalkboard will be available on site for people to coordinate activities as they emerge.
🎟️ MEMBERSHIP & PRICING 🎟️
OHM Gathering is a members-only event. Registration includes one year of membership with our charity, Open Heart & Mind (OHM).
Financial memberships help cover the essential costs of the gathering and support the people who make it possible.
Volunteer memberships are available from $50 in exchange for six hours of contribution to the kitchen, gate, decor, or packdown teams, or 8 hours contribution to the build.
Children and young people under 18 attend for free. Parents bringing children and young people can also receive a 20% discount using the coupon code "PARENT".
Core contributors, traditional custodians and site residents are welcome to attend with a complimentary ticket (plus a $1 membership fee). Contact us for an access code: gathering@openheartmind.org

The gathering will officially close on Sunday afternoon, but you can pay an extra $30 to stay for the after-party and camp on Sunday night.

Referrals earn recognition within Wisdom, so let your community know you’re coming and help make the gathering better for everyone.

Refunds are available up to 48 hours before the event begins, minus a $30 membership and administration fee.

In the weeks following the gathering, you’ll be invited to join a series of online calls to reconnect, reflect and recognise everyone’s unique contributions.

OHM is developing Wisdom, a free and open system for recognising contributions and coordinating collective action.
Through our gatherings, we’re testing how Wisdom can help communities recognise diverse contributions, strengthen reciprocity and coordinate collective action — laying the foundations for a more regenerative gift economy, one gathering at a time.
