Breakfast with Stephen Gomes — Kinship Earth
8:00–9:30 AM
Breakfast and coffee available for purchase
Join us for a relaxed pre-event breakfast with Stephen Gomes, co-founder of Kinship Earth, cofounder of Gaia Game, and former Global Project Manager at Bechtel.
This is an opportunity for a smaller, more conversational gathering before the larger event—a chance to meet fellow builders, organizers, funders, and regeneration-minded people over coffee, lattes, and breakfast.
Kinship Earth is working to transform philanthropy so that resources reach the people most rooted in and accountable to their places: grassroots leaders, Indigenous-led initiatives, and bioregional communities restoring ecosystems and strengthening local resilience. Its model is grounded in trust-based Flow Funding, pioneered by Marion Rockefeller —reducing bureaucracy and moving resources toward those closest to the challenges and possibilities on the ground. kinshipearth
“When resources flow to the hands of those who know their lands, regeneration takes root.”

Stephen brings a rare perspective across large-scale global project management, regenerative finance, community-led ecological work, and game-based approaches to collective action. We’ll explore questions such as:
How can capital, culture, technology, and local knowledge work together in service of life?
What does bioregional organizing look like in practice?
How might games help people coordinate around shared planetary challenges?
What can builders and community leaders do now to support regenerative work where they live?
