About Today's Guest
Jenny Hampton is a Partner at Guidehouse with 20 years of experience designing human-centered energy and climate programs across both corporate and community contexts. Rooted in social science, organizational psychology, and behavior change, she has spent her career at the intersection of people and systems, helping governments, utilities, and nonprofits navigate the complexity of the clean energy transition with both rigor and deep care for the humans inside it. Jenny brings a mindfulness-based lens to her work, drawing on her own journey of releasing the weight of "saving the world" as a personal burden to guide others toward more sustainable, community-rooted ways of working. She believes that inner ecology and outer ecology are inseparable, and that burnout, grief, and anxiety in climate work are not obstacles to the mission, but invitations to tend to it differently.
Fast forward to today, it’s clear Jenny is someone who has learned how to read a room, navigate complexity, and step into what’s needed.
