Sharifa Atkins is a former lawyer with a 20-year career serving as a strategic talent advisor for highly regulated industries including life sciences, biotech, pharma & medical device. She is the Founder & CEO of Everest Advising, LLC, a boutique fractional talent advisory and executive search firm. Sharifa holds a Bachelor's Degree in Government from the University of Virginia and a Juris Doctor from Temple University.
YJovanay Carter | Co-Founder & CEO, The Dev Difference
Jovanay Carter is the Co-Founder and CEO of The Dev Difference and a former technical recruiter at Google and Codecademy who has interviewed over 20,000 candidates. Her firsthand experience watching underrepresented talent fall through the cracks of broken hiring processes drove her to build a company dedicated to candidate readiness and equitable job access. Jovanay holds a Master's in Computer Science with a focus on Tech Entrepreneurship from the University of Chicago and a B.A. from Dartmouth College where she remained actively involved.
Moyosore Okeremi | Co-Founder & CTO, The Dev Difference
Moyosore Okeremi is the Co-Founder and CTO of The Dev Difference and a Senior Software Engineer at Microsoft, where she has spent five years building high-performance AI and developer tools. As an international student from Nigeria who navigated a CS degree with little guidance on corporate recruiting, she knows firsthand the gaps that exist for underrepresented talent in tech. At The Dev Difference, she has single-handedly architected and executed the company's full-stack platform. Moyo is a proud Dartmouth graduate, a Davis United World College Scholar, a Delta Sigma Theta Sorority Member, and a passionate mentor for Black women and international students pursuing careers in tech.
