About Event

Spend Halloween afternoon building your own miniature Dutch canal house, and give it a haunted twist if you dare. Think crooked windows, a ghostly glow, suspiciously cheerful pumpkins, and bats on the roof. Prefer classic canal house charm? That works too.

Expect a relaxed afternoon of tiny architecture and creative chaos, with coffee and snacks. Join us at Indeave in Haarlem and go home with your own mini wooden house.

What's included

DIY Canal House kits (each person gets kits for 2 houses from the photo): pre-cut wooden pieces, assembly guide, and LED light
Erica, the designer behind the canal houses, will be there to guide you
Paints to add your own colors if you wish
Mini Halloween decorations to make the house spooky
Tea, coffee, and cookies so that you stay energized while you build

The DIY Amsterdam Canal House kit is designed in Amsterdam by Dog with Pearls. The pre-cut pieces slot together without glue, so you can skip the fiddly part and get straight to the fun part – building and decorating!
