Solar Maverick 300: Clean Energy Networking & Celebration

Thursday, November 5, 2026 | 6:00–9:00 PM
Hudson Hall | Jersey City, New Jersey

Join us as we celebrate a major milestone: 300 episodes of the Solar Maverick Podcast.

Organized by Benoy Thanjan, host of the Solar Maverick Podcast, this special evening will bring together friends, listeners, podcast guests, clean-energy professionals, entrepreneurs, investors, and members of the Jersey City community for a night of networking, conversation, and celebration.

Over 300 episodes, Solar Maverick has featured leaders from across solar, energy storage, clean energy finance, climate tech, policy, entrepreneurship, and investing, sharing the ideas and people shaping the future of energy.

Our last Solar Maverick event in Jersey City in June 2026 brought together more than 85 people from the clean-energy industry and raised $17,000 for the Let’s Share the Sun Foundation.

We’ll gather at Hudson Hall, a Czech beer hall and smokehouse in Jersey City, where Benoy is one of the owners. Enjoy food provided at the event, a relaxed atmosphere, and plenty of opportunities to connect with fellow guests over great conversation.

I’m excited to welcome Bluevine as a sponsor! Julia Allen will join us on behalf of the Bluevine team.

Headquartered in Jersey City, Bluevine is a financial technology company that provides banking and lending solutions for small businesses and startups. Its platform brings together business checking, payments, and cash management tools to help entrepreneurs manage their finances and make every dollar go further.

Bring your business cards for the raffle! We’ll be giving away a battery storage pack, gift cards to Ani Ramen and Hudson Hall, merchandise from MMD Shops, and Solar Maverick T-shirts.

We’re also excited to welcome back Tobias Eats of Yummy Media, who will be capturing video and photographs throughout the evening. Find him on Instagram at @tobiaseats.

Sierra and Colson will return as our welcome hosts, greeting guests and handling check-in. They did a fantastic job at our Summer Solstice Fundraiser, and we’re happy to have them back!

Come celebrate, make new connections, and enjoy the evening—and remember to bring your business cards!
