Signature Gathering at Alysa Liu Celebration at Oakland City Hall
Join us to start gathering signatures for Connect Bay Area, the five-county regional transit funding measure!
We will meet at 11:30 in Frank Ogawa Plaza near the corner of Broadway and 14th st. to start collecting signatures at the Alysa Liu Celebration. Thousands of Bay Area residents will be coming out to celebrate Oakland’s hero, the BART rider and Olympic gold medalist Alysa Liu, who has been vocal in her support for public transit. Many of her fans ride and support transit, too—let’s show up in force to give them a chance to sign the Connect Bay Area petition!
To see the most friendly faces and to join the group training session, plan to meet at the event start time. But if you've already attended a training (or if you complete online training in advance by reading our training guide then completing this form), you can stop by anytime before the end of the event to drop off completed petitions and/or pick up new ones. Your RSVP is helpful either way.
No experience necessary. You just need to be 18 years old to gather signatures. If you're under 18, let us know at [email protected] as there are many other ways to be involved and help!
