With Dad: A Film & Conversation on Caring for Aging Parents
Join us for a free evening of film and conversation in honor of National Family Caregivers Month.
We’ll screen With Dad, an award-winning short documentary by Soren Sorensen. Over twenty years, photographer Stephen DiRado documented his father’s journey with Alzheimer’s through his camera. The result is an honest, deeply moving portrait of what it means to love and care for a parent as they change.
After the film, stay for a panel discussion about caregiving: the challenges, the support available here in our community, and how we can show up for one another.
Panelists
Melissa Minor, MD, MPH, Founding Physician, VIM Medicine
Soren Sorensen, MFA, MA, Director, With Dad

…and more joining the conversation!
