Field Recording Club
Our first gathering! We'll start by talking about what draws us to field recording and what we want this club to be. Then we'll head out for a sound walk around Bradley St. and the nearby streets.
Bring your ears, a recorder if you've got one (even if its just your phone to start!), and come open to all the sounds of the street!
The club will meet the last Thursday of each month (10/29, 11/19, 12/17)
Each meeting we'll:
- Share what we've recorded, and what we've been working on
- Get a fun prompt to record before next time (think: "sounds you'd use to a rescore horror movie scene")
- Talk about additional meetups — field trips, soundwalks and hikes, etc!
No experience or equipment required to participate and, no obligation to record either. You're welcome to come just to listen!
