AI and Your Child's Math Homework: What Helps, What Hurts, and How to Tell

​I'm Jin Kim, a math teacher with over a decade in NYC public, private, and charter schools, now tutoring privately in Park Slope and Fort Greene. Most students already use AI for math homework, mostly to get answers, and most of that happens at home. We'll look at how kids are really using it, try a few free public tools on real problems, and work out what to watch for: when it's helping them think, and when it's doing the thinking for them. You'll leave with a one-page guide for the fridge.

​Bring one homework problem your child struggled with recently, and a laptop if you have one, but nothing is required.
