M3+ | UX/Product Mentoring + Networking | The Heart of Product Idea Building—Business Canvas Modeling
Who is it for?
Designers and design researchers who want to understand how business models actually work and why that matters to your design decisions. Whether you're early in your career or more experienced, this session is for anyone who's designed something beautiful, only to realize later that the business model underneath can't support it.
You don't need to know anything about business or finance. You just need to be willing to think critically about how ideas work in the real world.
What will we do?
This session follows a workshop format designed for hands-on learning. We'll start with a guided walkthrough of the Business Model Canvas—a tool for mapping how to plan for products to create, deliver, and capture value. Then we'll break into small groups and actually use it.
🚨 Because we value mutual learning, participants are encouraged to ask questions, share workflows, and walk through examples from their own work. 🚨

This month:
Main Program: The Heart of Product Idea Building—Business Canvas Modeling
Led by Key Kiani
Description:

What You’ll Gain:
A shared language for talking about business models with engineers, marketers, and stakeholders
Clearer understanding of how your design decisions either enable or break a business
Practice reframing problems instead of just validating solutions
Confidence in asking the right questions before you design
Hands-on experience mapping a real (or ridiculous) business model
