BioPhoT Pitch presentation training
You are invited to participate in the Pitch presentation training of the Long-Term National Research Program project “Biomedical and Photonics Research Platform for the Creation of Innovative Products” – “BioPhoT”.
The aim of the presentation masterclass is learning to present scientific research or a pilot project to investors, sponsors or audience not related to scientific organizations. The program will include a lecture about fundamental elements of presentation structure, form, content and public speaking and will be followed by a practical masterclass where participants have a chance to practice on their own presentation slides.
About the lecturer:
Kristaps Pētersons has more than 30 years of experience in storytelling. Started as a reporter in local TV station, he has received many awards in journalism and documentary film making during the career. He has worked with such international media as CNN, BBC, Bloomberg, NYTimes, Le Monde, International Herald Tribune, Eesti Paevaleht and many European public broadcasters. Kristaps is a certified presentation master, a member of Presentation Guild (ex Member of the Board of Directors), International speaker (TEDx) and a member of FuckUp Nights Worldwide organization. He is running a weekly business show “Median Report”. His work includes more than 4000 corporate sales and investment presentations, over 2000 TV news stories and TV programs produced, more than 1500 news and feature articles published and over 1000 lectures held.

9:00 - 9:15 - Getting acquainted and writing down expectations
9:15 - 11:00 - Lecture "Communication in Presentation - Structure, Content and Form"
11:00 - 11:45 - Formulation of the practical work and masterclass (demonstration)
11:45 - 12:45 - Lunch break
12:45 - 14:30 - Practical group work
14:30 - 14:45 - Break
14:45 - 16:45 - Presentations and feedback from the trainer
Pitch training will be held in English
