CodeJS

​CodeJS is an intensive, hands-on workshop focused entirely on Node.js backend development. Participants will learn how to build and run server-side applications using Node.js, explore package management with npm, and understand modular coding practices.

​In this workshop, you will:

• ​Learn the fundamentals of Node.js, including running JavaScript on the server.

• ​Understand package management using npm and installing third-party modules.

• ​Explore require/import and module.exports/export for modular application design.

• ​Build simple backend applications and understand the basics of server-client interaction.

• ​Get introduced to REST API fundamentals to create basic endpoints.

​This session is ideal for students who want to dive into backend development using Node.js and gain practical experience in building server-side applications.
