Stitch & Bind at Houndstooth MLK

​Set your phone down and spend an afternoon learning how to bind your own handmade notebooks! In this workshop, you'll learn two classic bookbinding techniques — the pamphlet stitch and Japanese stab binding.

• ​2-hour hands-on session, beginner-friendly (seriously, no experience required!)

• ​Guided instruction in two techniques: pamphlet stitch and Japanese stab binding

• ​All materials included: paper, variety of cover choices, thread, needles, and tools

• ​Small group size for individual attention and questions

​You'll leave with:

• ​Two handbound notebooks, made and designed entirely by you

  • ​1 Pamphlet stitched pocket book

  • ​1 Japanese stab bound book

• ​The skills to keep making your own notebooks long after the workshop ends
