​Join us for a day of creativity, art and digital wellbeing for children aged 8-12. Cadwell Kids brings together engaging sessions designed to give children space to create, explore and connect. Each session offers a different opportunity for children to learn, express themselves and have fun.

​Got a character in your head? Come and put them on the page.
In this hands-on workshop, Naniverse, a creative studio telling stories from around the world in an anime style, will help children design a character and work on their own comic page. We'll look a tAdanna's Will, a comic page made by Naniverse, to see how the artist uses panels, expressions and sound effects. Then it's their turn to draw.

​What You Will Do
Meet the world of comics: Explore comics from different places, including manga, manhwa and manhua.

Create your character: Use drawing sheets to try different eyes, faces, hairstyles, bodies and poses.

Plan your story: Turn an idea into panels and choose from three comic page layouts.

Get drawing: Spend the final 35 minutes working on your page, with tutors there to help. Children who want an extra challenge can ask a tutor for an optional bonus card on camera shots or angles.

​Good To Know
No drawing experience is needed. Everyone can start with the guided sheets.
