Description of our in-person workshop on 5/22

a 90-minute experiential workshop for neurodivergent, trans, and outside-the-box families, and any parent who finds themselves needing to advocate with judgy in-laws, co-parents, or teachers who just don’t get it.

sometimes you know what you want to say… but in the moment, it comes out reactive, tangled, or not at all.

this workshop is a space to practice being the self-assured parent you already are—in your body, in your voice, and in real-life situations. in this workshop, you will:

feel more grounded and confident in your parenting

practice finding and using your voice in challenging moments

move from reactive responses → clear, embodied communication

get to rehearse real situations you’re currently facing • be supported by a warm, inclusive community that celebrates courage what makes this workshop different - this is not just a discussion, it’s experiential and practice-based.

you’ll:

work in pairs to explore real parenting challenges

try out both your “reactive” and your grounded, aligned voice

receive simple, powerful coaching tools you can use immediately

witness and participate in live role-play with group support (with a touch of playfulness, yes, there may be a crown and a villain) who this is for

parents who feel outside the “norm” (nd, trans, creative, working parents)

parents navigating misunderstanding, judgment, or conflict

anyone who wants to feel more steady, clear, and self-trusting in how they show up details

what you’ll leave with

a clearer sense of what you actually want to say

tools to stay grounded in hard moments

the felt experience of standing in your parenting with confidence

practices you can bring into real conversations, with partners, family, and educators facilitated by two experienced facilitators who bring together:

depth-oriented parenting support

somatic practices for finding your voice and speaking up in high-adrenaline situations

real tools used in parent groups and therapy

this is a space to be real, to practice, to laugh a little, and to remember: you don’t have to parent the way others expect, you get to parent in a way that feels true to you.
