🚀 What We Talk About When We Talk About Space [public]

​Have you ever wondered why the sun shines? How we know the age of the universe? How we determine the distance to stars and galaxies, or why ET hasn't landed yet?

​If so, this event is for you! This will be a ~90 minute salon-style (Q&A encouraged) talk on stellar astrophysics, spectroscopy, basic cosmology, and (if time permits) SETI.

This talk is intended for people who have taken (and forgotten) high school physics. The only requirement is that you're curious about space!
