Craft-a-Gift: Glühwein Glass Cup Painting Workshop
What do you give someone who has everything? Something handmade. There’s no better gift than one from the heart.
TUKA Creative Club is Berlin’s playful space for grown-ups to reconnect with creativity, community, and calm.
Our Craft-a-Gift series turns cozy evenings into meaningful handmade presents perfect for the Christmas holidays. Simple projects, gentle guidance, and a warm community of people who let themselves be kids again.
2) What we’ll do:
We’ll paint glass cups for Glühwein/tea using glass paints and paint markers.
Quick demo: working with simple stencils and festive motifs (snowflakes, stars, tiny houses, etc.)
Practice on paper, then paint your cup
Add details and finish with an at-home curing guide so your design lasts
3) Our goal:
Leave perfectionism at the door. We aim for calm focus, joyful experimentation, and connection. You will learn a few easy techniques and make something heartfelt you can gift to yourself or a loved one.
4) What you’ll take home
1 hand-painted glass cup
A mini stencil sheet + an oven-curing guide
New skills you can repeat for gifts all season
…and a gift that says: “I made this for you.”
Practicalities:
Language: English & German
Level: Total-beginner friendly
Price: Pay-what-you-can. Please only register if you’re confident you can attend. If plans change, cancel at least 24h before so someone else can enjoy this evening too.
Bonus: Your ticket includes a drink. Pay what you can—we recommend €10–15 per person to help cover materials and space rent.
We provide: glass cups, glass paints/markers, stencils, washi tape, cotton swabs, wipes, etc.
Bring (optional): ideas or a simple motif you love, but we will have some prepared for you also.
Safety & care: Food-contact areas stay clear inside the rim; designs go on the outside. You’ll receive an oven-curing guide for durability.
