Which Way Is Sustainable? Rethinking the Compass for Better Business Decisions

What guides the decisions we make every day? And is that still enough?

📍 Online session · 🗓️ 26 August, 18:00 · ⏱️ 2 hours

Businesses are operating in a world shaped by climate change, resource constraints and evolving societal expectations. In this context, financial performance alone is no longer enough to guide long-term success.

In this online masterclass, we are joined by Johanna Wagner, an entrepreneur and Hospitality Management School lecturer who brings more than 20 years of experience across BNP Paribas Real Estate, Four Seasons Hotels & Resorts and Covivio. Driven by the belief that there's no such thing as small change, she puts sustainability at the foundation of everything she does.

The session will explore how sustainability can become a practical framework for better business decisions as a different way of evaluating priorities. Drawing on examples from the hospitality industry and its connections to real estate, food, mobility and other sectors, you'll discover how organizations can rethink strategic decision-making to create long-term value while operating within planetary boundaries.

Whether you work in hospitality or another industry, this session will challenge the way you think about business decisions and offer practical perspectives for leading organizations in a changing world.
