​Congolese-rooted, globally-raised singer-songwriter celebrated for his rich vocals, "Bantu Soul" sound and gift for blending ancestral traditions with modern soundscapes.

​Explore your voice in a welcoming, inclusive space designed for all levels. Through vocal exploration, group singing, and genuine connection, you'll discover what your voice can do - and who you are when you sing with it.

​Batila grew up immersed in the sounds, traditions and language of his Congolese homeland. A poet and musician from age ten, he developed a powerful relationship with ancestral rhythms and storytelling. In this workshop, he'll share how he bridges the past with the present, blending Congolese traditions with reggae, jazz and electronic sounds to create his signature "Bantu Soul." You'll witness first-hand how heritage, culture and personal voice intertwine - and how to find your own.
