DAY 1 - RERC Community Workshop

​We’re thrilled to have been selected into the Recreation Economy for Rural Communities program!

​You're invited to a community workshop focused on outdoor recreation to provide insight on how the Kern River Valley can:

• ​Expand main street programs,

• ​Provide outdoor recreation access for all, and

• ​Rebrand the region to increase its appeal to visitors year-round

​This event is free and open to the public. The format will be interactive, engaging, and informative. Participants are encouraged to join for as much of the agenda as possible and everyone should feel comfortable coming and going as schedules allow.

​Day 1 - Monday, May 18th

• ​Agenda: Session One - Role of the Recreation Economy and Community Values, Vision, and Goals

• ​Location: Kern River Valley Senior/Veteran's Center
