PIECES: An Intimate Reading Series & Tour

​Pieces: An Intimate Reading Series & Tour brings selections from B.M. Fannell’s memoir-in-progress off the page and into small rooms where the stories can be experienced together. Each stop offers a glimpse into a larger story about becoming, loss, reinvention, identity, and what we make from the pieces of a life that did not unfold exactly as planned.

​Brooklyn marks the fifth stop in the series—and a particularly meaningful one. B.M. Fannell is originally from New York, spent childhood summers in Brooklyn with family, and has family roots in the borough. Bringing Pieces here is, in its own way, a return.

​Expect an intimate room, selected readings from Pieces, conversation, and an opportunity to connect with the author and other guests after the reading.

​Barzakh Cafe offers food and beverages for purchase throughout the evening.

​Seating is limited to create the intimate experience that has defined the series. Advance registration is strongly encouraged.
