Running Wild Drawing Session

​In this session we will be creating observations of a few different animals whilst walking and running. We are luckily enough to have some lovely travelling sequences of images from wildlife photographer Mike Unwin to draw from.

​
We will be looking at stand alone stills and moving image to really build a library of mid-travel action shots in our sketchbooks. This will be such a wonderful way of observing movement and really taking notice of how an animals form changes during motion. Expect Zebras and Leopards to name just a few of the animals we will be looking at.

​We will warm up with a few quick studies and then gradually slow down so you can get lost into your sketchbooks.

​The images and moving footage on screen will be accompanied with timers for your reference.

​Always expect a warm welcome, creative company and chat. There is no pressure to talk or have your camera on. This is a safe space to feel comfortable and for everyone of all abilities.
