About Event

Ask ten AI experts what a fair algorithm looks like. You'll get ten different answers — and all of them will be right. The questions of how to define bias, equity and equality are still answered with "It depends". Fair enough! But shouldn't we strive for a more nuanced answer?

In the next round of the Trustworthy AI Circle we will explore what it means to operationalise fairness — where different approaches align, where they diverge, and what that tells us about the assumptions baked into the tools we use to measure something as contested as "fair". We are joined by Daniel Glinz and François-Ferdinand Bozso, practitioners who are building tools to make fairness evaluation more concrete and actionable. Their work is real, ongoing, and open to scrutiny — and that is exactly the point. This session is not a product demo. You are not here to observe a solution; you are here to stress-test one. Your honest reactions, questions, and friction points will directly shape what gets built next.

Come ready to engage, disagree, and leave your mark on tools that may one day be used to evaluate AI systems that affect all of us.
