跨語言 爵士詩歌 音樂會+詩歌朗讀會! TRANSLANGUAGING JAZZ POETRY NIGHT! (in the afternoon)
2004年，詩人黃翔與著名美國爵士薩克斯風手 Oliver Lake 合作開啟了「爵士詩歌音樂會」，奠定了匹茲堡延續至今的「爵士詩歌月」傳統。時隔多年，這場爵士詩歌音樂會，將在紐約 Accent Sisters 以新的跨語言陣容再度上演！
活躍於紐約的爵士二重奏 Tamir Lifshitz 和 Hillai Govreen，回應84歲傳奇「詩獸」黃翔的再次登場；基於黃翔在兩卷本文集《星辰起滅》中提出的「宇宙人體、星際思維」主張，將生命與詩歌置於浩瀚宇宙中觀照。同時，詩人/出版人張玲和詩人/學者莫妮卡（Mónica Sarmiento-Archer）攜跨語言詩集《Babel 2 / 巴別塔2》加入這場朗讀會。在華語、英語、法語、西班牙語等的流動中，我們邀請每一位參與者重返華語詩歌七十年代「狂飲不醉的獸形」，共同完成一場由詩歌與器樂編織的即興盛宴！

詩人 黃翔 HUANG XIANG
黃翔，1941年出生，1950年代開始詩歌創作，被西方學界譽為21世紀中國最偉大的詩人之一，亦為作家與書畫藝術家。1997年起定居美國。2004年，匹茲堡市正式宣告11月21日為「黃翔日」。2025年，他獲國際詩人筆會頒發「傑出成就獎」；2026年，獲全球婦女基金會與威尼斯皮薩尼—雷維丁宮文化中心頒發「終身成就獎」。同年，他的詩作入選多語言詩集《Babel 2》，由此開啟一段新的跨語言詩歌旅程。
詩人/作家/出版人 VICTORIA ZHANG 張玲
張玲，筆名秋瀟雨蘭，是紀實性長篇文學作品《荊棘桂冠》的作者。該書中文版於2003年在美國紐約出版，英文版於2024年在美國出版。現任 Kunlun Press／崑崙出版社及無疆界文化藝術中心 Borderless Culture & Art Center（BCAC）執行長。她多次受邀在美國的大學、高中、各類組織及文學團體演講並朗誦自己的作品。2025年3月，她獲全球婦女基金會頒發「通往卓越職業生涯之路——2025年度傑出女性」獎。
詩人／學者 MÓNICA SARMIENTO-ARCHER 莫妮卡
Mónica Sarmiento-Archer 來自厄瓜多洛哈，是詩人、藝術家與學者。她獲西班牙馬德里康普頓斯大學視覺藝術博士學位，後於紐約聖若望大學取得西班牙文學碩士學位，並在西班牙阿利坎特大學繼續文學博士研究。她創作詩歌與短篇小說，現任教於紐約霍夫斯特拉大學及阿德菲大學。她亦從事文學、藝術與以人為本健康研究，專研藝術中的維度主義及不鏽鋼著色工藝。
她的藝術作品獲大都會藝術博物館圖書館、紐約公共圖書館、紐約現代藝術博物館圖書館、西班牙王室及多家國際博物館收藏。2012年，她獲授西班牙查理三世皇家傑出勳章；2006年，她曾代表拉丁美洲參與聯合國教科文組織成立60週年活動。
爵士乐手:

In 2004, poet Huang Xiang collaborated with renowned American jazz saxophonist Oliver Lake to initiate the "Jazz Poetry Concert," establishing the "Jazz Poetry Month" tradition that continues in Pittsburgh to this day. Today, this jazz poetry concert returns with a new multilingual lineup at Accent Sisters in New York!

HUANG XIANG
Huang Xiang, born in 1941, began writing poetry in the 1950s. Regarded by Western scholars as one of the great Chinese poets of the 21st century, he is also a writer, calligrapher, and visual artist. He has lived in the United States since 1997. In 2004, the City of Pittsburgh officially proclaimed November 21 “Huang Xiang Day.” He received the Outstanding Achievement Award from Poets International PEN in 2025 and a Lifetime Achievement Award from the Global Women Foundation and the Pisani Revedin Palace Cultural Center in Venice in 2026. That same year, his poetry was included in the multilingual anthology Babel 2, opening a new chapter in his cross-linguistic poetic journey.

VICTORIA ZHANG
Victoria Zhang, also known by her pen name Qiu Xiaoyu Lan, is the author of the book-length documentary literary work Crown of Thorns. Its Chinese edition was published in New York in 2003, followed by an English edition in the United States in 2024. She currently serves as Executive Director of Kunlun Press and the Borderless Culture & Art Center (BCAC). She has been invited on numerous occasions to speak and read her work at universities, high schools, organizations, and literary groups across the United States. In March 2025, she received the Global Women Foundation’s “Outstanding Woman of 2025: Path to Professional Excellence” award.

MÓNICA SARMIENTO-ARCHER
Mónica Sarmiento-Archer is a poet, artist, and scholar from Loja, Ecuador. She earned a doctorate in Visual Arts from the Complutense University of Madrid and a master’s degree in Spanish Literature from St. John’s University in New York, later continuing doctoral studies in Literature at the University of Alicante. She writes poetry and short fiction and teaches at Hofstra and Adelphi Universities. Her research includes literature, art, person-centered health, dimensionalism, and stainless-steel coloring processes. Her art is held in collections including the Metropolitan Museum’s Arthur K. Watson Library, The New York Public Library, the MoMA Museum Library, the Royal House of Spain, and international museums. In 2012, she received the Royal and Distinguished Spanish Order of Charles III, and in 2006 she represented Latin America at UNESCO’s 60th anniversary.
JAZZ DUO
Tamir Lifshitz and Hillai Govreen have been colleagues for many years, performing together in a variety of ensembles. Their instrumental music draws inspiration from the jazz tradition alongside classical music and the Brazilian choro tradition. The ensemble has been performing throughout the New York jazz scene and is scheduled to appear at the Seine Jazz Festival in Paris this October. Tamir Lifshitz is an Israeli jazz guitarist, composer, and educator based in New York. He has performed at leading New York jazz venues and internationally, including appearances at the International Jazz Festival Bern in Switzerland and the Lotus Jazz Festival in Poland. His playing blends the bebop tradition with modern improvisation and original compositions. Hillai Govreen is an Israeli clarinetist, saxophonist, composer, and arranger based in New York. She has performed internationally and collaborated with acclaimed artists including George Cables, Arturo O’Farrill, Anat Cohen, and George Colligan. Combining expressive improvisation with original compositions, Hillai has established herself as a versatile voice in contemporary jazz and is an endorsing artist for P. Mauriat clarinets and saxophones.
