Qwen Meetup Kuala Lumpur #1

Hey KL! 👋

We’re so excited to invite you to the very first Qwen Meetup in Kuala Lumpur! 🎉

This is where curious minds, builders, and AI enthusiasts like you come together to explore what’s possible with Qwen - Alibaba’s open, powerful, and ever-evolving family of large language models.

Whether you’ve been tinkering with Qwen for months or just heard about it yesterday—you’re welcome here. Come as you are: developer, researcher, founder, or simply someone who’s excited about the future of open-source AI.

Here’s what we’ve got in store:
✨ A quick dive into the latest Qwen updates, think smarter reasoning, better coding support, and fresh open-source releases
✨ Real stories from local builders who are already creating cool things with Qwen
✨ Plenty of time to chat, connect, and maybe even spark your next collaboration over some light bites and good vibes

📅 When? Wednesday, 28 January 2026
🕕 Time? 4:30 PM – 7:30 PM (MYT)
📍 Where? Somewhere cozy in Kuala Lumpur (we’ll share the exact spot once your RSVP is confirmed!)

🎟 It’s free to join, but we’re keeping things intimate, so attendance is by approval to make sure everyone’s genuinely excited to be part of the conversation.

And if you’ve built something with Qwen (even if it’s just a fun weekend experiment!), we’d love to hear about it. Got a demo, a lightning talk, or a project to share? Just drop us a note at:
qwen.meetup@list.alibaba-inc.com
or reach out directly to febria.roosita@alibaba-inc.com

Let’s build something great—together. 💛

See you in KL!
