Block Party! An Intro to Linoleum Printing

​Get your hands inky and join Kate Feddersen at Block Party, a linoleum stamp-making and tote bag printing workshop hosted at Ours!

​In this artist-led workshop, you'll carve your own custom linoleum block from a design you mock up yourself, then print it onto a tote bag you'll take home... totally ready to show off at your next farmers market outing, maybe the beach this summer, packed up for a picnic in the park, or heading out to see where the day takes you.

​No experience needed, all supplies included. Everyone will leave with a one-of-a-kind printed tote, a custom linoleum stamp, and a new skill in their back pocket. Come ready to carve, print, and party at Ours in Richmond!

​Kate Feddersen is a visual artist and art educator working in ceramics, glass, sculpture, painting, and printmaking. Rooted in a practice that explores light, perception, and a variety of materials, she brings the same curiosity from her studio into every workshop she leads. Kate has taught across K–12 classrooms and hands-on community workshops, always holding to the belief that the best art emerges when the pressure of product falls away and process becomes the priority.
