Organizations are moving quickly to embed AI into how work gets done—from recommendations and predictions to increasingly autonomous decisions. But as algorithms become more deeply integrated into the enterprise, leaders face a bigger question than how to adopt the technology: How much decision-making power are we actually handing over to it?

Join us for an intimate, interactive roundtable with Hamilton Mann, a leading thinker on AI, digital transformation, and the growing influence of algorithms on organizations and society.

Hamilton challenges leaders to think about AI not simply as another technology to deploy, but as part of the strategy itself. Algorithms increasingly shape what information gets surfaced, which choices get prioritized, what actions are taken, and even the rules under which organizations operate. As Hamilton puts it: “Algorithm is strategy.”

Drawing on his research and work with organizations navigating AI transformation, this conversation will explore how leaders can take advantage of algorithmic intelligence without unintentionally surrendering the human judgment, accountability, and leadership their organizations depend on.

We’ll also examine Hamilton’s concept of algorithmic power—how algorithms can effectively take on legislative, executive, and judicial roles inside organizations by encoding rules, executing them, and increasingly making judgments based on those rules. As organizations move toward agentic AI, understanding where this power sits—and what checks and balances are needed—becomes a strategic leadership issue.

As always, this will be an interactive dialogue, not a presentation. Members will engage directly with Hamilton through examples, questions, and candid discussion about how AI is already reshaping decision-making inside their organizations.

Things We Will Cover:

  • Why AI should be treated as a strategy and governance question, not simply a technology deployment

  • How algorithms can quietly influence—and eventually displace—human judgment and decision-making

  • The three forms of algorithmic power and what they mean for organizational governance

  • How convenience, productivity, and repeated use can gradually turn AI adoption into dependence

  • Practical ways leaders can create checks and balances that preserve human judgment while capturing the benefits of AI

This conversation is designed for senior strategy and innovation leaders navigating AI adoption who want to ensure that as algorithms become more powerful inside their organizations, leadership and judgment remain firmly in the loop.
