iHatch National Demo Day 2025
The iHatch National Demo Day 2025 is the flagship concluding event of the iHatch Startup Incubation Programme, an initiative of the National Information Technology Development Agency (NITDA), implemented through the Office for Nigerian Digital Innovation (ONDI). Designed to accelerate innovation, digital entrepreneurship, and the growth of technology-driven enterprises across Nigeria, iHatch aligns with the nation’s Strategic Roadmap and Action Plan (SRAP 2.0) by equipping early-stage founders with the essential tools, skills, and networks needed to build sustainable businesses.
Delivered in partnership with Spurt!, CcHub, Ubulu Africa, BusinessPlus and a nationwide network of innovation hubs, Cohort 4 has engaged over 150 startups and 37 hubs across 36 states and the Federal Capital Territory. The programme has been structured into multiple phases, including virtual upskilling, physical residency for hub managers, pre-incubation for startups, ongoing mentoring, and recently concluded Regional Demo Days held across the six geopolitical zones.
One of the key innovations of Cohort 4 was the integrated training of Hub Managers, who were equipped to serve as local facilitators and technical mentors. Their participation in broader ecosystem initiatives, such as the NITDA GITEX Roadshow, has further strengthened regional innovation capacity and advanced digital inclusion efforts.
Across its phases, the programme has delivered learning in critical areas such as business modelling, customer discovery, product development, digital marketing, investor readiness, financial planning, and pitch development. The Regional Demo Days showcased standout startups from each geopolitical zone, culminating in the selection of twelve (12) national finalists—two per region—to compete at the National Demo Day.
The National Demo Day serves as the final stage of the Cohort 4 journey: a high-profile showcase celebrating the most promising startups and amplifying opportunities for investment, visibility, and strategic collaboration. The event will convene top government officials, industry leaders, investors, and development partners, reinforcing Nigeria’s commitment to nurturing a vibrant and globally competitive digital economy.
