ABRC BOOKCLUB: THE ALCHEMIST
Your brain deserves a break from endless scrolling. For our first book club of the month, we're reading The Alchemist by Paulo Coelho.
A young shepherd named Santiago dreams of a treasure hidden near the Egyptian pyramids. Following that dream takes him far from home, across deserts, and into encounters that challenge what he believes about purpose, courage, love, and destiny. Along the way, he learns that the journey toward what we want can change us just as much as reaching it.
Short, accessible, and deceptively philosophical, The Alchemist gives us plenty to unpack together:
Are we supposed to follow our dreams? What does it mean to find your “Personal Legend”? How much of our lives is shaped by choice, circumstance, or fear? And when do we know that something is actually worth pursuing?
Come read, think, disagree, and talk about it with us.
