​In this session, we'll be joined by Tim Jackson to explore his latest book, The Care Economy. Tim is an ecological economist, writer and Director of the Centre for the Understanding of Sustainable Prosperity, and the author of the landmark Prosperity Without Growth, which shaped a generation of thinking about what economies are really for.

​In The Care Economy, he turns his attention to something we all depend on but our systems consistently undervalue: care. Honoured in our hearts but sidelined in our markets, how did we arrive here, and what would it take to build an economy organised around care rather than growth?

​This is a conversation about what we choose to sustain, and what we allow to erode.
