Oakland Tech Week: The Future of Oakland

​Join Hack the Hood for Oakland Tech Week as we bring together leaders, educators, technologists, and young people to imagine what's possible for Oakland in a rapidly changing, AI-powered world.

​We'll open with a conversation on the future of education, technology, and equity then turn the spotlight on our learners as hackathon teams demo the projects they've built to solve real problems in their own communities.

​Part conversation, part celebration, and a first look at the people who'll shape what Oakland becomes next.

​Hack the Hood provides underestimated youth and young adults with free tech skill-building programs and career navigation support grounded in justice. Since 2013 we've served more than 2,000 young people across the Bay Area.
