Level 2 Meditation Course: Blueprint of the Buddha’s Noble Lay Disciples (8 weeks)
This Level 2 course is designed for practitioners who want structured support to deepen practice and move closer to the kind of training described in the suttas for the Buddha’s noble lay disciples.
The aim is to help close the gap between what the Canon describes about noble lay disciple lifestyle and training, and how many of us practice today. We’ll focus on practical, doable ways of taking on trainings that are mentioned in the suttas but are rarely emphasized in modern lay life—using the lives and teachings of both ancient and modern noble lay disciples as our reference point.
We’ll include deeper training in:
Keeping the Eight Precepts
Breath meditation (with a deeper dive)
Rarely practiced meditation topics in the Canon
Dependent co-arising as a practical framework for practice
Dhutangas in lay life
The lives and teachings of noble lay disciples
