GREEN FILM FESTIVAL ‘25
Environmental Justice & Food Systems Programme
Join us in Accra for Green Film Festival ’25 a curated afternoon of powerful storytelling exploring how climate change intersects with the food we grow, the communities we nourish, and the global struggle for environmental justice.
This year’s edition brings together eight carefully selected documentary films from across Africa, Europe, and the United States.
Each film examines the deep connections between climate change, food systems, oceans, extractive industries, Indigenous knowledge, and community resilience.
From disappearing coastlines and marine exploitation to food sovereignty, grassroots innovation, and the lived realities of climate injustice, the programme has been intentionally shaped to guide audiences through a journey of witness, understanding, and reflection.
