Gerry Thiessen brings more than 30 years of leadership in the insurance and benefits sector, guiding award-winning teams and helping organizations of all sizes—from startups to enterprises with 35,000 employees—create healthier workplaces. He is passionate about innovative group benefits design and champions a “member first” approach that puts people at the center of every solution.

​A graduate of the University of Manitoba and Dalhousie University, Gerry currently leads the Northern Alberta Sales team at Alberta Blue Cross, where he is also a valued member of the sales leadership team.
