Inclusive E-waste Ecosystems: Empowering Women in the Value Chain

​PCI India and the ABB (CSR) in collaboration with XLRI invites you to a multi-stakeholder consultation on “Inclusive E-waste Ecosystems: Empowering Women in the Value Chain”, to be held virtually on February 20, 2026. As India’s e-waste sector rapidly evolves, there is a critical need to build compliant, scalable, and inclusive models that integrate women from Self-Help Groups and waste-picking communities into formal e-waste value chains.

​This consultation will bring together Producer Responsibility Organizations, recyclers, technical experts, civil society actors, and social enterprises to reflect on emerging challenges, policy shifts, and market opportunities within the ecosystem. Through focused discussions on last-mile collection, segregation, compliance, and refurbishment, the event will explore practical pathways for strengthening women-led enterprises in e-waste management. Insights from the consultation will inform PCI’s Naari Circuit initiative and contribute to a sectoral white paper aimed at shaping future interventions and collaborations.
