Lunch with David Cleevely, CBE
The Oxford and Cambridge Society of Estonia is delighted to invite members to an intimate lunch with Dr David Cleevely, CBE – one of Cambridge’s most influential entrepreneurs and architects of its world-leading innovation ecosystem.
David will be in Tallinn for Latitude59 and has kindly agreed to spend time with our members over lunch on Thursday, 21 May, in a restaurant in the Old Town (location upon registration).
Please register by 13 May at the latest to secure a spot. Places are very limited to 12 people only, so early booking is strongly recommended to avoid disappointment. +1s are welcome but only subject to availability, and of course please do update your registration if you can no longer attend.
This is a rare opportunity to engage in informal conversation with a true Cambridge legend:
Co-founder of Abcam, a billion-dollar life sciences company
Founding force behind key pillars of the Cambridge Cluster: Cambridge Network, Cambridge Wireless, and Cambridge Angels
Founder of the University of Cambridge’s Centre for Science and Policy (CSaP)
Former Chair of the Raspberry Pi Foundation
Deep tech investor
Advisor and mentor to countless people and organisations in both the public and private sectors
David is also the author of Serendipity: It Doesn’t Happen by Accident, and a leading advocate of “engineered serendipity” – the deliberate creation of environments, networks, and interactions that significantly raise the likelihood of valuable, unexpected discoveries.

There is no additional fee to participate, only the cost of the lunch - more details on the menu will follow upon registration.
We look forward to seeing you soon!
