Socially Inclusive Hiring: kick-off webinar for SMEs
The Tech Future Taskforce is inviting SMEs to take part in a bold new pilot programme designed to reshape how small businesses hire — with inclusion, innovation, and impact at its core.
The Socially Inclusive Hiring pilot offers SMEs a practical way to access more talent. SMEs will also benefit from building more capability to onboard future talent.
The programme is a collaborative effort between major tech companies including Google, Amazon, Accenture, NCSC and the App Association. It also brings in expertise from leading social mobility and talent organisations: The Sutton Trust, UpReach, Tangent, GoodWork, Talent Foundry and AMS.
This isn’t just about doing good — it’s about doing better business. The pilot delivers a high-quality, replicable recruitment experience tailored for SMEs, helping them confidently make class-inclusive hires and strengthen their hiring pipelines.
To kick things off, a 60-minute launch webinar will include:
· SME leader insights on how the talent pipeline and productivity is impacted by socioeconomic challenges and the opportunity to lead change.
· Lived experiences from individuals who’ve overcome barriers and are now thriving in tech.
· Programme insights what’s on offer, how to join, and the support available.
· Employer voices sharing why inclusive hiring isn’t just ethical it’s strategic.
SMEs who attend will be first in line to join this exclusive pilot. Places are limited, and demand is expected to be high.
