Mitch Rubin
Senior Director of Investments & Innovation, Elemental Impact
Mitch Rubin is Senior Director of Investments & Innovation at Elemental Impact, a nonprofit investor focused on scaling technologies with deep environmental and local impact. He leads Elemental’s portfolio across food & agriculture, nature, and industry.
Mitch has spent his career operating and supporting startups with a strong sustainability lens. Prior to Elemental, he helped launch a multi-asset fund focused on climate-resilient communities, managed Chobani’s Incubator programs, and worked with startups in Detroit as a Venture for America Fellow. He holds an MS in Sustainability Management from Columbia University and a BA in Political Science from Duke University.

Lena Horvath McAtee is an Investment Manager and Head of Sustainability at Re:food, a transatlantic growth equity investor reshaping the global food system.
