ML Reading Club NCR | Research Paper Reading Session
Most ML papers are skimmed. Very few are actually read.
ML Reading Club NCR is a small, curated group for people who enjoy sitting down with a good research paper and really understanding it.
For our second session, we’ll once again pick a few important ML papers and spend the afternoon reading, discussing, questioning, and unpacking it together.

Rather than chasing the latest AI headlines or trying to cover as many papers as possible, we’ll slow down and focus on only one or two papers: its motivation, assumptions, ideas, methodology, experiments, limitations, and the questions it leaves behind.
Expect thoughtful discussion, whiteboard derivations, implementation questions, different interpretations, and the occasional “wait, does this actually work?”
You don't need to be an expert on the paper beforehand. You just need to be curious enough to read it carefully and interested enough to discuss what you find.
This isn't a networking meetup or a recruiting event.
It’s simply a room full of people who genuinely enjoy reading and thinking about artificial intelligence and machine learning.
Attendance is intentionally capped at around 15–20 participants to keep the discussion small, interactive, and technical.
If spending a Sunday afternoon with a research paper sounds more exciting than scrolling through another hundred AI announcements, we'd love to have you join us.
