Pitch Room NYC @ FitBodyNation — Train + Pitch + Network (AI/Tech Founders & GTM Partners)
Most founder events start with drinks and “so what do you do?” This one starts with discipline.
Pitch Room NYC: Fitness Edition is a high-signal room hosted at FitBodyNation on the Upper West Side.
We’ll do a structured, founder-friendly training session:
calisthenics
a little weights
a little cardio
Then we switch modes:
short founder pitches
engineered collisions (introductions that make sense)
networking built for execution
This isn’t a nightclub. It’s not a conference. It’s a room for people who actually build.
Why we’re doing a gym edition
Because “networking” is easy when it’s weightless.
Put founders in a gym and a few things happen fast:
people show up more real
status games fade
conversation quality goes up
you can tell who has standards (and who just talks)
This room is for founders who want momentum—in business and in life.
The venue founder story (why this room has meaning)
FitBodyNation is owned by Danny White—and his story is exactly why this room exists.
Danny was born in Brooklyn, raised in Harlem, and excelled in athletics early. Then life took a hard turn—he spent nearly a decade incarcerated, including nine months in solitary confinement at the beginning of his sentence.
Most people break there.
Danny built.
He read. He wrote. He planned. He put FitBodyNation on paper before it existed in the real world.
Inside, he found redemption through fitness—competing, training other inmates, and building a reputation that traveled beyond the walls. He earned six fitness certifications, became a sought-after trainer, and eventually left corporate gyms to build his own: a place designed for individualized transformation and holistic wellness.
Today FitBodyNation is a sanctuary for people rebuilding their bodies—and their lives.
So if you’re a founder who’s carrying something heavy… and still building anyway… you’ll understand why this room belongs here.
What happens (simple format)
1) Train together (guided session)
A balanced session designed for mixed fitness levels:
mobility warm-up
calisthenics + strength blocks
cardio finisher No ego. No weirdness. Just work.
2) Reset + quick transitions
Change, hydrate, breathe.
3) Pitch Room (rapid fire)
A handful of founders/operators get a short slot to pitch:
what you’re building
what you need
what you can offer
4) Collisions + networking
This is the part that matters. We facilitate intros based on what you’re actually trying to do (customers, partnerships, hiring, capital, marketing help, engineering help).
Who this is for
founders building anything real (DTC, SaaS, agency, local business, AI)
operators who want better relationships, not more contacts
people who take craft seriously—marketing, engineering, product, sales
anyone who wants to be in a room with higher standards
Not ideal for:
people who only show up to “network”
spectators who never ship
anyone offended by effort
What to bring
workout clothes + sneakers
water bottle
towel (optional)
business cards optional (your work is the card)
Tickets / capacity
This room works because it stays sharp. Limited capacity. RSVP early.
About ROOMS (why this isn’t just “an event”)
ROOMS builds physical rooms that produce real outcomes: pitch → collision → execution.
Not fluff. Not clout. Not vibes.
If you’ve been looking for a founder room that feels like a standard—not a scene—this is it.
Don't Miss Out! RSVP Now.
Capacity is capped at 42 (this is a gym floor, not a ballroom). Tickets start at $59—because the session itself is normally $50/person/hour. This room stays small on purpose.
