Austin Sports Business Meetup
Join us for our next Austin Sports Business Meetup, hosted at the “High Bar” Mezzanine at Hold Out in Clarksville. It’s a great space to relax, connect, and talk shop with others who work at the intersection of sports and business.
We’ll have a bartender on hand serving Hold Out beers and wine, along with some light bites to snack on while we mingle.
We’ll also be joined by Tim Silvey, CCO of RPM and host of The MotorMouth Podcast, Benjamin Jarrett, founder and CEO of RPM, and Hilary Brown, VP of Partnerships at OWL, for a conversation about how AI, emerging technology and prediction markets are shaping the business of motorsports and sports more broadly.
Tim Silvey is a Formula One sponsorship consultant and racing driver manager with 20 years of experience at the commercial heart of the F1 paddock. He is CCO of RPM.xyz, VP of Partnerships at FormulateXP and host of The MotorMouth Podcast. His work also spans Monaco superyacht hospitality, and he previously served as Commercial Director at The Race Media, the world’s largest independent motorsport media company.
Benjamin Jarrett is the founder and CEO of RPM, a prediction markets platform built for motorsport. He spent his career in markets, trading physical oil across Asia and the Gulf before moving into derivatives as a proprietary trader, and was selected for Trafigura’s Junior Trader Assessment Programme in 2016. RPM is where all of that ended up: a way to trade a race weekend the way you’d trade any other live market.
Hilary Brown has built her career at the intersection of media, sports and measurement. She previously led the global commercial team at Relo Metrics, selling category-defining measurement solutions to rights holders, sponsors, brands, agencies and broadcasters. At OWL, she leads go-to-market strategy and partnerships, bringing real-time sports intelligence to that same ecosystem.
We’re always open to ideas on how to make these gatherings more valuable, so if you have thoughts on topics, formats, or discussions you’d like to see, feel free to bring them along. Come ready to talk sports, business, and everything in between over a good drink.
