​Crappy Crafters is hosting another cosy evening of crafts! Come along to Cosy Society Craft Café for a few relaxed hours of crafting, chatting, and getting creative with like-minded people.

​Looking for a fun way to be creative and meet new people, even if your crafting skills are a bit… experimental? Then Crappy Crafters is your kind of crowd. Whether you’re a total beginner, someone trying crafts for fun, or just here for the good company, you’re 100% welcome. We don’t care what you make – just that you enjoy making it. Everyone’s welcome – locals, expats, travellers.

​Please note: this is a casual BYOC (Bring Your Own Craft) social meetup, not a workshop or taught class. Please bring a craft project you can work on independently, either by yourself or while following a YouTube tutorial.

​Cosy Society have kindly given us use of their space, so they ask that each attendee purchases at least one item from the menu to support their small business.

​What to craft? All kinds of crafts and creative hobbies are welcome. We already have crafters who do journaling, knitting, crochet, felting, drawing, painting, animation, jewellery making, embroidery, and more. Bringing paints or messy materials? Great! Please just keep things small-scale and café-friendly.

​Crappy Crafters is all about creativity, conversation, and a little digital detox from everyday life. We encourage members not to bring laptops so we can focus on crafting and connecting. Tablets used for creative apps are absolutely fine.

​Where to get supplies? If you’d love to join but aren’t sure where to get supplies, some good low-cost options are Mr DIY, KKV, B2S, Flying Tiger at Emsphere, plus online shops like Lazada and Shopee. Cosy Society also has some optional craft activities available to purchase, including bead making, canvas painting, and ceramic painting. Please speak to the lovely staff at Cosy Society if you wish to explore this further.

​Booking policy: Please register to secure your place, and if your plans change, cancel your registration as soon as possible so someone from the waitlist can attend. This group is for adults aged 18+.

​Things to note: At our events we take photos and videos to share with the group and on social media. Just let us know if you would prefer not to be included.
